About
Kenneth received his BA with a double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Sacred Heart University in 2008. He then left the United States to pursue both MA (2009) and M.phil (2011) degrees in Philosophy at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Leuven, Belgium. His research there examined subjectivity in the writings of Michel Foucault and the phenomenological tradition, and sought to locate points of interaction between the two, regarding what ontological status 'subjects' have. He has currently applied for doctoral programs in Philosophy in the United States. Kenneth's ongoing research interests include the status of religion within the postmodern condition, philosophical anthropology from the psychoanalytic perspective and its relation to various forms of life (scientific/artistic/religious), subjectivity in continental philosophy, and the phenomenology of religion (as in Levinas, Derrida, Marion).
