About
At the moment, I am working on early Eocene hyperthermals, including the PETM. In general, the project I'm working on revolves about characterizing these extreme warming events in the North Atlantic Ocean. As a micropaleontologist, my main 'working tools' are deep-sea benthic foraminifera (their distribution and ecology), although I also use stable isotopes and other geochemical proxies to try to elucidate the nature of hyperthermals.
